We are seeking a Part-time Team Leader to join our team at Little Monkey Hostel. This is an all-around role that will lead the housekeeping team while ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the hostel. You will be the end responsible to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

This position is perfect for someone who is flexible, organised, and passionate about maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment for our guests. We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible to help us maintain our hostel’s high standards.

• Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas of the hostel are kept clean.
• Oversee the cleaning of public areas, including the lobby, kitchen, bathrooms, and lounges, ensuring that they meet hostel standards.
• Ensure guest rooms are cleaned, refreshed, and stocked according to hostel standards, while maintaining an efficient housekeeping schedule.
• Help maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary housekeeping materials. Order supplies as needed.
• Training and guiding housekeeping staff, helping them understand cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Respond to guest requests for additional cleaning, extra bedding, or other amenities promptly and professionally.
• Work with other hostel departments to coordinate cleaning schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experiences.

• Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
